Drum units

Idealtech Drum Un-loaders ( Drum units ) have been designed for melting and dispensing various types of adhesives, such as EVA, PSA, polyamide and polyurethane hot melt adhesives. The precise temperature control system is able to control and regulate each heating zone separately: melting feeder, pump, heated hoses and automatic/manual heads. The standard version of the product can handle 4 external heating zones, expandable to 8The Drum line of drum units is the best solution for processing large quantities of hot melt adhesives, sealants or PUR adhesives. In addition, in the case of PUR, it is possible to close the melting feeder and the air exhaust to protect the adhesive from cross-linking due to contact with moisture in the air.Gear pumps ensure precise metering of the adhesive. The choice of pump depends on the capacity required and the volume and viscosity of the product used. The seal can withstand temperatures above 200°C. The double gasketguarantees perfect adhesion to the inner surface of the drum.

FEATURES

It is possible to run machine functions directly from the operator panel touch screen, such as:– Temperature operation– Pump speed control– Switching the system on/offThe choice of melting plate depends on the type of product being melted and the required melting capacity. The drum melting system can be equipped with:

Flat plate

is characterised by easy and quick cleaning, suitable for low-melt and PUR adhesives.

Ribbed plate

is suitable for high-melting adhesives due to its wider contact surface. Recommended for low-fluidity adhesives and adhesives requiring high melting point

The drum units can be adapted to work in tandem of two systems, avoiding downtime caused by changing the drum
